How many pictures do you provide?
For 10 hours of wedding coverage about 300-400 high quality images with 50 of those special retouched. For a 1 hour Boudoir session about 20-30 images with 10 of my favorites of those special retouched.
How many hours do you shoot?
For weddings, 10 hours from the time of start. For engagements, 1 hour. And for boudoir sessions 1 hour for marathons and 1-2 hours for a private session. For weddings, I have found most people do not need more than 10 hours.
How much is it to add hours?
The cost is $250 per extra hour of coverage.
Do you bring backup gear?
Always! I never leave home without it!
Do you travel outside Edmonton?
Yes! Please contact me for travel rates.
Do you shoot with flash?
I do shoot with flashes but I prefer available light. I've found that available light is the most three dimensional and realistic and allows me to create images that are more candid without the pop of a flash distracting from the moment.
How do I book your services?
I have a retainer of 50% of the wedding cost as well as a contract that I do by email. Once I have the retainer and the contract the date is booked. However, I cannot hold dates until then.
How far in advance are you booking?
I'm currently booking weddings as far as 1-2 years in advance. I prefer not to book weddings more than 2 years out.
What kind of gear do you use?
I shoot all pro level digital SLR cameras. I prefer Canon.
Do I get a disk of files?
Yes all your files are given to you on disk. These files are color balanced and exposure balanced and are beautiful print ready images. I also retouch my favorite 50-100 images which I use for my blog and these are also included on the DVD. These images receive special treatment in Photoshop which includes special effects and black and white conversion.
What kind of albums do you carry?
My albums are coffee-table style leatherbound 10x10 books, with lay-flat binding. These are truly works of art. I would love to show you some in person. Please contact me to setup an appointment!
